“LIKE A CITY OF A DREAM YOU ARE DRENCHED IN LOVE, AND LIKE A CITY OF PARADISE YOU ARE MADE OF LIGHT” (Aldo Palazzeschi)

WE ARE IN THE HEART OF TRIESTE

The Ritter's is in Piazza di Cavana, pedestrian center of the city, a few steps from its major attractions. If you come by car, 150 meters from the Ritter's is the pay park Park San Giusto.

You can reach Piazza Unità d'Italia with a minute by feet, and a few steps will get you to the Jewish Ghetto, which ranges from here to the nearby Piazza della Borsa and its Habsburgic palaces. The via Portizza will get you to a maze of narrow streets, full of antique shops and used books stores. Nearby is also the Borgo Teresiano with the Canal Grande, Ponterosso (“red bridge”) and the neoclassical church of St. Antonio Taumaturgo (“St. Anthony the miracle worker”), and the Serbian-Orthodox temple of the Holy Trinity and San Spiridione. The Ritter's is at the feet of the San Giusto hill, with its castle and its cathedral.
